Purpose of the role 

Drive the design, delivery, and improvement of onboarding and learning programs within the Claims department. Work with leaders and SMEs to build consistent, high-impact training that boosts speed to competency and performance.

Key priorities 

  • Facilitate engaging, interactive training for new starters across Operations.
  • Design and continuously improve Claims Training programs aligned with compliance and business needs.
  • Identify training gaps through consultation, performance data, and feedback.
  • Provide post-training coaching to embed learning and boost on-the-job performance.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to develop tailored learning content.
  • Support and guide internal trainers, ensuring consistent delivery standards.
  • Manage training logistics, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ensure training governance, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead learning projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Champion Youi’s values and promote a culture of safety, risk awareness, and improvement.

About you 
Experience & Knowledge:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in adult education, training or teaching.
  • Financial services or insurance industry experience highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in training delivery, coaching, and leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid understanding of general insurance, regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Knowledge of Youi operations, products, policies, and systems (preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Confident using MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Experience managing learning initiatives or working in project-based environments.

Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays.
