About the Role

Our IT Governance & Cyber Security team are looking for an IT Governance Specialist, who will support the broader team in the development and implementation of Youi’s IT Governance Framework. The successful candidate will have operational ownership of activities relating to IT process governance, IT and security control implementation and first line activities related to technology standards and regulations (e.g., CPS 234, PCI DSS).

Reporting to the Head of IT Governance & Cyber Security, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the Custodian of Youi’s IT Governance Framework
  • Creating, reviewing and amending IT Governance policies and procedures
  • Increasing awareness of policies and procedures, as well as carrying out enforcement tasks
  • Performing continuous improvement initiatives and providing recommendations
  • Governance of the IT disaster recovery process
  • Liaising with Third Line Risk teams including internal and external audit
  • Carrying out First Line IT Risk Management initiatives such as quarterly IT risk assessments, IT risk reporting as well as collaborating with Second Line risk team re the risk register
  • Being a Subject Matter Expert in the application of PCI-DSS and APRA CPS-234
  • Identifying, understanding and assessing enterprise Cyber security risks
  • Working with the business in developing and embedding sound cyber security risk management practices, including third party security risk management

About You

Ideally the successful candidate will meet most of the below criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or Information systems
  • CGEIT, CRISC, CISA or equivalent IT governance and risk management certifications
  • Previous experience within a similar role/ or track record in proactively identifying obligations, risks and opportunities within large, complex organisations
  • Knowledge of IT Governance frameworks and methodologies (e.g. COBIT)
  • Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to hit the ground running and manage relationships at all levels of the business
  • High level of integrity and professional accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and simultaneously manage a multitude of tasks, whilst working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • A clear passion for technology
  • Data analytics skills will be advantageous
