This role is accountable for the IT infrastructure and operations (I&O) in all Youi locations including network services, data centre, telephony and contact centre, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstations and end points, servers, storage and on-prem and cloud software.

Recruitment, leadership, ongoing education, awareness and training of the Infrastructure & Operations team
Delivering proactive capacity planning and scheduling, balancing business project demands with BAU activities
Forecast future skill and competency needs to acquire and develop an IT workforce
Process and Technology
Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems that fulfil the needs of the business, including the full life cycle of technical architecture, infrastructure engineering, infrastructure operations and IT service support
Define, develop and manage a comprehensive and integrated ITSM landscape, based on best-practice processes, disciplines and related toolsets
Remain up to date with new and emerging technology (Cloud) and provide direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated, integrated and introduced
Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
Experience and understanding of relevant technology standards, frameworks and methodologies (ITIL, COBIT, PCI DSS, ISO27001, NIST, Prince2/PMBOK, Agile)
5 + years leadership experience in a technology company
Excellent cloud solutions experience, including leveraging its benefit to deliver competitive advantage for the organisation
Significant contact centre experience (Avaya/Genesys/Cisco etc)
Vendor management and partner relation skills
A history of managing operating expenditure (opex) and capital expenditure (capex) budgets for I&O
Experience with project and program delivery in a large complex environment
An ability to articulate architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms including a working knowledge of different architectural frameworks that may be used by our customers.
